The Hotel Guerrini opened
for business in the 1920's as a modest little lodging. It is
conveniently located on one of Venice's main roads, which the
first part of it is named "Lista di Spagna". This street
was created years ago by dredging up a canal during the XVII
century. They went on to build embassies here, and the street
was therefore name after the Spanish embassy. The Mazzo family
bought the hotel in 1938, who has continued to keep the original
name, and has persisited to host visitors for three generations. |

Many guests who came
to the Guerrini to celebrate their honey moon years ago,
have actually come back to celebrate aniverseries, and or bring
their children to meet us.
The original building was modest and humble, but back in the
1960's the hotel was completely remodelled and upgraded with all
the up to date amenities needed to accommodated modern needs. An
extension to the hotel was added to the main portion, and
remodelled with all the modern comforts as well. |

| Each year the main
building and addition are always improved and refreshed to
appeal to the modern needs of the business traveller, groups,
families and schools. All of the security measures are revised
and checked. |
